Fermentec is a consulting company specialized in alcoholic fermentation and laboratorial control in all steps of sugar and alcohol production. Integrating science and practice, Fermentec has developed and spread out new technologies for the sugar and alcohol sectors that have distinguished the Brazilian mills and distilleries around the world. The partnership with our costumers, allowed the increase of industrial efficiency, reducing costs and improving the quality of sugar, alcohol and distilled beverages produced in Brazil and abroad.
Integrating the consulting, research and laboratory areas, Fermentec built in 2006 a 2 000 m2 building in Piracicaba (SP), which is one of the main sugar and alcohol production center in Brazil. This space, furnished with high technology equipment, makes possible the accomplishment of innovative research in fermentation as well as all related chemical and microbiological analysis.
With a staff with more than 40 specialized professionals, classrooms, laboratories and a library to make possible the transference of knowledge and technologies in alcoholic fermentation, more than 30 years of research and projects implemented.
